Following the success of the FG10 Single position jet for Spinning applications, the jet range is being further expanded to include multi-position jets capable of upto 20+ ends with a pitch of 6.5mm, 5mm, 4mm or 3mm The jets incorporate a unique mounting mechanism offering very accurate assembly with simple maintainance and operation. The jet core design (patented) and manufacturing process, has been developed to give outstanding performance with reduced operating costs thus giving excellent payback to the consumer. The jets can be engineered to fit all known equipment and custom design services are available from our sophisticated design/engineering department.

During Itma Asia 2005, a new range of jets will be launched for BCF and T & I yarns offering high levels of entanglement with low air consumption. The jets are also available from our custom design team so to fully integrate with our customers requirements and future machinery trends.

The highly succesful FG5C jet is now available in very high quality alumina ceramic material. The ceramic jet cores are manufactured to ultra high precision with excellent uniformity for guaranteed stability and uniformity during production. Many new jet cores are under development and as part of our continued development process, new cores will be released in the near future to reduce air consumption and give increased levels of performance.

A new range of spinning jets are due for launch in October, they are newly developed using the High Efficiency jet core with improved housing and yarn guide arrangements offering a truly superior yarn alignment in conjunction with our patented jet core which offers the most effective interlace character than ever before. Nips are higher in number, better in eveness and eveness of the strength even at low operating pressures. In September a brand new version of the succesful FG5 jet will be launched. The FG5C has many improved features such as its construction which is a 3 part assembly, see picture below. The handle assembly is attached using a quick release fastner for easy use, and then the jet core can be lifted off for cleaning or changing for another jet core. The Housing is slightly larger and incorporates metal features for added strength and durability. An improved guide bracket is used when required and has more flexibility for different process requirements. There are no sliding parts on the sealing surfaces hence no opportunity for air leakage and reduced maintenance costs. The Jet Baffle plate is available in high quality ceramic material or in our special Tungsten material in order to offer a higher level of choice to our customers! The biggest development in this new jet however is in the jet core itself which will benefit from new machining procedures developed by our manufacturing team, it will have a more accurate and improved finish to all features and the inlet/outlet detail is designed to give a smoother yarn path with better yarn control.

Effective interlacing of microdenier yarns is now even more important. Excellent cohesion is required without yarn damage or retained nodes causing pin holes in the final fabric. Fibreguide's unique FG8 jet satisfies all of these requirements in DTY, POY and FDY. Filament cohesion gives good package off take whilst reducing the posibility of pin holes or yarn damage. The gentle perfomance of the jet is also used for Oil Migration during the Spinning process and interlace where tension can be controlled.

This unique multi threadline, jet is now well established in high technology POY interlacing applications. In addition to class leading interlace performance with low air consumption, the FG10 Enclosure also provides very easy operation, together with low noise levels and mist extraction. The FG10M range of jets is available in muliple formats such as FG10S single jet fixture, FG10M twin jet fixtures in 10 or 12mm threadline pitch as standard and in the Mini Pitch format which enables multi threadlines with a thread line pitch as low as 4mm. Custom jets incorporating these technologies are available to suit most requirements and can be manufactured to suit the applications or developments.

The FG5 Jet has now been further enhanced with investment in new tooling systems enabling more detailed manufacture of the jet cores. This coupled with further investments in development and higher levels of manufacturing accuracy has enabled further enhancement of the entire range of jets. Improved performance is the result as well as reduced air cost resulting from improved air flow geometry.
